My films are intended to spark conversations. What I look forward to most are the screenings—creating dialogue around issues that might not always have a platform. With three Emmy awards and experience on national platforms such as PBS, Netflix, Discovery, and the History Channel, I've honed my craft in connecting people to resources, communities, and knowledge through visual storytelling. My background in journalism has been pivotal in shaping who I am today. I crave knowledge and connection from small communities and strive to foster that same sense of connection for my audiences. I see myself as a vessel, allowing individuals to share their desires and hopes through my work, with the goal of creating a brighter, more inclusive future that fosters connection across all avenues.

”Be the change that you would like to see in the world” has carried me for many years. Each film I produce has this same messaging in its core as I see myself grow, learn, and change during and after each production. Success to me looks like a riveting panel discussion post film screening or an individual coming to me and thanking me for helping them feel seen. Challenges are always coming from the pressure to create the next big Netflix film or follow along with what commercial filmmakers see as successful style guides to inform public spaces and overall entertain for the bottom dollar. I realize that not all of my films will resonate with every audience, and that is the point. I desire for a niche approach that ultimately provides access to feelings of care and community to those who might

need it most.
